Wow! Sometimes it just looks like I've got about 50 clothes in my closet that I will never ever wear again, and I think this is such a shame! So I started my own little project with one of my jeans I did not wear for about.. I don't even remember how long. I thought: let's make this jeans totally new! I made you some before-and-after pictures, so you can see how I made my jeans and what I did to change it.

This is the jeans before I changed it. It's a jeans from denim birds, one of my favourite brands, which I bought a few years ago. Normally those jeans are pretty expensive (about E120), but I bought it when it was discounted for only E25,00 (did I mention I'm a really good bargain hunter?).

I started to bleach the jeans. I used three different bottles of whitener to bleach it, and all of them contain about 5% chlorine. Just to warn you, this is not really good for your jeans. It actually damages the structure of the fabric.

I did not have really much whitener, because all three bottles were almost empty, so I had to soak the jeans in the substance (which I diluted a little with water) for about 36 hours.

After this I put my jeans in the washing machine. When it was ready and dry (I did not use the dryer) it was time for the sewing machine! I don't want the jeans to be flare, so I decided to make it skinny.

First of all I turned my jeans inside out and put it on the floor. I "ironed" it with my hands, just that the inner edges layed on eachother.

After this I put another skinnyeans of mine on top of the jeans. With pins I made a pattern of the dark skinnyjeans on the light one. (If you want to make your own skinnyjeans, always narrow the outside leg , never the inside leg! I did this myself one time, and it did not work out pretty well..)

It's not a really clear picture, but here you can see all the pins.

Then I tried the jeans on. You can see the difference already! (Be careful with pins if you would like to do this yourself. I got some in my leg and foot and it was not a great feeling if you know what I mean).

After I tried it on, I pinned the other leg. I tried it on again, and made some adjustments. Then I used a pencil to draw the pattern on the jeans. Thereupon it was possible to sew the the jeans. I cutted the fabric which I did not need anymore, and, tadaaa:

Quite a difference don't you think?

And here you can see it when I'm wearing it, isn't it lovely?

I added my Acid Wash deep v neck which I never worn, it's on marktplaats actually. You can also see my new tan flats and my grey bag. I used it yesterday for the very first time, and it's a great bag! I can put a million of things in it, it's quite a big bag!
